The Server & Cloud Division Information Experience (SCDiX) team is well-qualified SDET lead to manage a strong team of SDETs and deliver the comprehensive test deliverables and provide quality assurance for the IXP team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering complex projects with strong managerial and technical leadership skills. You will work with the program management and development teams and help drive testing strategy and test-tool development around the current tools and infrastructure applications used to author, manage, build, and publish Microsoft's technical documentation. This position will report to the Information Experience Platform (IXP) Team which a within the SCDiX group. The IXP team creates systems and applications to support four User Assistance teams, consisting of hundreds of technical writers and editors. These teams author thousands of technical documents, all of which are processed and delivered to the core Windows Server operating system, the TechNet website, the MSDN website, and include deliverables for download and print.

Qualifications for this position include at least 5 years Test experience. Experience in people management is also preferred. Experience in testing technologies that involves processing large quantities of data through content creation, processing and content delivery is preferred. This position requires proficiency in SQL, C#, .NET, and XML development as well as excellent problem solving skills. Experience with XSLT and web technologies is preferred. The ideal candidate should have experience with mainstream testing and software development methodologies such as Scrum. In addition, this person should be familiar with test automation, API testing, defect management and test case management systems. Familiarity with Microsoft testing applications and systems is a plus. Additional qualifications include strong initiative and cross-group collaboration skills. A BS/BA in computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
