The mission of our organization, Windows Azure, is to create an “Operating System for the Cloudâ€, also known by its early codename Red Dog (RD). This is the foundation of Microsoft's Cloud Platform and it provides virtualized computational, scalable storage, automated management and a rich developer SDK.
The Windows Azure Storage team is looking for a Senior SDET with strong design and coding skills to architect the testing infrastructure and tools that validate Azure's massive distributed storage system. Key responsibilities for this position include building test framework and automation, creating test strategy and test plans for new features to validate functionality and stress test the system to find bottlenecks. In addition, you will work on the product code base to improve its test-ability, diagnostic-ability, debug-ability and overall product health of the storage system.
Requirements for the position are:
• Proficiency with C++ and C#
• Experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming
• Excellence in software engineering practices and coding
• Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software
• Experience with LINQ/SQL/ADO.net is a plus
• Experience with distributed programming models is a plus
• BS+ in computer science or related fields
