Do you thrive on engineering excellence? Windows Serviceability Team at IDC Hyderabad is looking for an experienced Development Leader in test to build and lead a team of 5-8 developers. Our mission is to deliver the best servicing experience to all Windows customers around the world. We service all the flavours and versions of Windows (Desktop, Server, Data Center, etc.) by providing feature requests, service-packs, security patches and hot fixes to Windows users worldwide.

The team also focuses on innovation of better tools, services and solutions to improve overall Windows servicing experience. Servicing Windows customers is one of the most important tasks for Microsoft and everything you do will touch 100s of millions of customers every day. This position offers fantastic opportunity to work closely with Microsoft Windows releases, Hotfixes, and Security bug fixes. We are looking for an energetic, technically strong individual, highly motivated, driven SDE/T who desires to work on the latest technology and thrive on getting issues resolved quickly. This includes managing bugs from triage to closure, assessing test impacts, verifying proper test coverage and procedures from a binary and hardware perspective, keeping test suites current, running regression tests both manual and automated, reporting test results, and drive issues to completion.

Development responsibilities include doing code review / bug analysis, analyzing development and test impacts, writing test tools, and identifying automation opportunities. The qualified candidate should have strong programming, debugging experience, and excellent problem solving skills. The ability to work closely with developers, program managers and other test teams, to ensure the quality of the owned components is vital.
