Our mission is to deliver the best servicing experience to all Windows customers around the world. We service all the flavours and versions of Windows (Desktop, Server, Data Center, etc.) by providing feature requests, service-packs, security patches and hot fixes to Windows users worldwide.

The team also focuses on innovation of better tools, services and solutions to improve overall Windows servicing experience. Servicing Windows customers is one of the most important tasks for Microsoft and everything you do will touch 100s of millions of customers every day. Solving complex issues faced by customers requires significant technical knowledge, drive, and passion. We are looking for a candidate who prides on delivering quality products and loves to take on challenges to be the Development Leader in test of a strong, smart and passionate development team.

As a Development Leader in test you will manage the development aspects of servicing a set of components and technologies of Windows, deliver the best-of-breed servicing experience, create best-of-breed tools and solutions and provide inputs on how to improve the architecture and design to the core OS teams working on future versions of Windows.

This position requires strong design and hands-on coding background, preferably in C and C++, coupled with debugging skills, analytical and problem solving skills. This job demands you to be experienced in managing a team of high calibre developers. A successful candidate will have 1+ years of people management experience managing 5+ person teams, 4+ years of development experience and is expected to have been through at least one full product cycle as a lead. In addition, strong communication skills, excellent ability and desire to learn, passion for engineering excellence and passion to delight the customers are required. B.E. or equivalent degree in computer science or related field is desired.
