Who do we want?We're looking for a passionate web developer with 3-5 years experience working on the front-end and back-end of web applications.  You are professional, good with deadlines and comfortable working independently.What do we use?We're mostly working on the Magento eCommerce platform.  Magento is built on PHP, the Zend framework and Mysql.  You'll need HTML, CSS & jQuery to work on the front-end.  To get things done we work with GIT, the command line and Photoshop.What you'll be doingYour main focus will be front-end eCommerce web development.  You'll work building, maintaining and enhancing stores for our clients.  Once you're up to speed, you'll work remotely apart for our quarterly get-togethers.  On a given day, you might do any of the following:

  • Enhance a product page, adding jQuery animation, customizing the layout and building a new product "collections" feature.
  • Install and configure a third party Magento extension to improve a client's store
  • Optimize and combine theme images into CSS sprites, rearrange JavaScript load order to improve page load time.
