Technical Project Manager: Mobile Software & Service (TriBeCa)

The Project Manager is responsible for managing Starcut’s large scale client delivery projects involving our MediaOne mobile publishing software and related professional services.

This position is New York City-based. Responsibilities include the following:

• Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ensure the defined project entity reaches the set goals, objectives and deliverables.

• Define milestones, deliverables and resources.

• Support sales in costing of services work.

• Create and maintain detailed project plans as well as handle day to day resources management.

• Ensure timely and clear project communication both internally and externally.

• Maintain and develop customer relationships.

• Work with project team members to determine and document effort required to complete tasks.

• Communicate changes in scope, date, and budget

• Develop our in-house processes and reporting related to project management.

• Deliver market and customer feedback to Product Organization

• Identify, document and communicate potential risks to the project.

The successful applicant will be a proven expert in project management (min. 3-5 yrs.) working experience in multinational environment combined with a solid understanding of media and/or mobile industry. Project Managers should have hands-on experience from sizable mobile and/or internet software & services development projects and related technologies. In addition, applicants need to have comprehensive understanding of PM process in general accompanied by strong presentation and communication skills. We value the ability to translate customer wishes into a clear solutions definition and to give the project team direction. Excellent negotiation & contracting skills and an understanding of digital marketing are a plus.

You should be a self-starter, capable of multitasking and attention to details.
