Web Designer / Graphic Artist Need For Freelance Work (Chestnut Ridge, NY 10977)
We are a small auto accessory manufacturer and distributor located in Chestnut Ridge, NY looking for a highly motivated web developer/graphic designer to help us develop our websites and print material.
The position will start as part-time, approximately 10 to 15 hours per week (work can be done both in our office or at home), but could eventually lead to a full-time position down the road.
This position will deal with all facets of web design/development...ranging from minor text edits to full blown site redesign. This detail oriented individual will work to design and enhance our current websites. The person we are looking for must also know how to find the right balance between design, detailed product information and usability.
Responsibilities: -
Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content.
Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical recommend improvements if necessary.
Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested
Contribute to the overall development of the website presence
Optimize sites for maximum usability and SEO
Test sites for links and usability
Create attractive design while maintaining pertinent company and product information
Requirements: -
Candidates should have strong experience with the following: - HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, Wordpress, Flash, etc. Video editing experience in Premiere or Final Cut is a plus.
