We are a long-established, stable publishing and marketing communications design firm offering monthly custom publications, advertising, website and social media development, direct mail, brochures, and other collateral for a wide variety of clients such as labor associations, law enforcement groups, entertainment companies, retailers, etc. Our top priority is the client’s satisfaction.

As Web Designer/Developer you will be responsible for design and coding web sites from A-Z, as well as managing an ongoing stream of web content updates and enhancement requests.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience

• Degree in Graphic/Web/UI Design or equivalent work experience

• Knowledge of Dreamweaver

• Proficient in hand written HTML, DHTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Proficient with graphics production tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, including web optimization

• Knowledge of Flash, Flash video and Action script

• Proficient with the setup and implementation of e-commerce solutions (custom or third-party)

• Experience with PHP, MySQL and AJAX/jQuery

• Experience working with content management systems

• Must be highly motivated, creative and able to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Strong organization skills

• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to follow strict design standards

• Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills

• Able to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

• Experienced with Web browser characteristics and compatibility issues.

• Ability to create clean, interactive User Interfaces

• Enthusiasm for keeping up with the latest in web technology trend

• An understanding of online marketing principles and techniques

• Knowledge of SEO best practices

• Experienced deploying websites on Apache and server Apache configuration
