We are looking for a smart, motivated, and organized web designer (contract position on-site) who can not only design but implement, deploy, and maintain a website.

We currently have an in-house designer in our San Francisco office who will be giving instruction as to how something should be designed before he hands it off to YOU.

Duties:

• Designing and producing company’s online material (web pages, mobile phone design, game design, membership sites)

• Concentration on front end (customer use) logistics.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XSLT

• Expert-level understanding of CS4, web-based technologies, mobile development, web design, production, and site/infrastructure.

• Software development experience.

• At least 2+ years' experience in Object Oriented Programming.

Skills Desired:

• Ability to independently implement and maintain Web 2.0 technologies.

• Strong development experience using PHP in web applications.

• X-cart or ecommerce experience.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.

• Strong experience developing successful online products or services is highly desired.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and independent work environment.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as be a strong individual contributor.

• Have a portfolio of past work available for review.

• Methodical in documenting and testing your own code.

• Someone who is passionate about their work and new technologies.

• Able to communicate well with others.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The candidate must have ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize their workload in a highly dynamic environment.

Education

BS/MS/MEng in Computer Science or Graphic Design preferred but not required.
