Web master/designer (Malibu, CA)
Internationally recognized, upscale substance abuse treatment center has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and energetic web master/designer in their flagship location in Malibu.
This is a key position within the organization, as our website is the central source of our communications and information. The successful candidate will be creative, motivated and highly personable interacting with various people and departments throughout the organization. This is a full time, in-house position.
Design, develop, and maintain new and existing websites, micro-sites, and individual web pages that are designed for a CMS solution.
Essential job duties are:
* Work with IT developers and occasionally outside vendors to provide a layout consistent with company branding for web-based applications.
* Troubleshoot code defects and deploy timely fixes as well as ensure that all design elements and templates work within a variety of browser types and screen settings.
* Participate in efforts to improve quality of web sites and other electronic publications as required.
* Image creation and optimization
* Research and implement social media tools and technologies to enhance website
* Support and train staff and external contributors on the use of our content management system
* Work with Marketing department to maintain and translate company branding from print to web
* Track monthly statics and provide a weekly update on the progression of projects
Qualifications:
* 3- 5+ years' experience
* Experience with designing for content management systems; experience designing for Active Content Management system is a plus!
* Proficiency with HTML, CSS, DreamWeaver, Adobe Photoshop
* Familiarity/experience working with JavaScript
* Knowledgeable in Google analytics and SEO
* Knowledgeable in new and emerging technologies
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a high-productivity environment.
* Ability to coordinate and effectively plan and execute web projects with internal teams.
* Strong sense of creativity and innovation
* Excellent written and oral skills
* Excellent attention to detail
