Website Tech Support/Account Manager for Web Development Co. (Santa Monica)
We are a successful award-winning web development firm in Santa Monica that is seeking a Website Tech Support/ Account Manager to join our team. We are in need of a resourceful person with good people skills and webmaster experience.
- Have you built or been involved in building 2 or more websites of any scale in the past 12 months?
- Have you been a technical support person for a web design company?
- Have you provided customer service in the website development field?

We build large, content management driven websites and. need a person to provide support to our clients by phone. You will be trained to support our existing clients and become their main point of contact for providing technical support, content migration, website configuration, and answering other questions they may have regarding website assistance or enhancements. You would deal directly with clients by assessing their needs and working with our internal team to get the job done.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
- Act as Client Liaison to manage launched websites
- Provide day-to-day support to our clients
- Gather requirements from clients for website enhancements
- Communicate and Coordinate technical and business requirements with programmers, graphic designers, and clients
- Create User Guides
- Test/QA websites
- Assist clients in using our content management system
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in website development (accepting entry level skills)
- Positive people skills required in order to maintain and enhance customer relationships
- Detail oriented/Organized
- Experience in recommending new products to clients
- Technical competence, i.e. HTML, web production, webmaster, or web support experience (Background in software, hardware, or tech support required. Photoshop, content management system (CMS) and database experience is a plus but not required.)
COMPENSATION
- $28,000-30,000 DOE plus small commission
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance contribution by company
