Premier Planning is a national marketing and consulting company for the Insurance and Financial Services Industry. AKA, we market insurance to insurance advisors across the entire United States…which means we’re a “Marketing Company” baby!

We have an immediate opening for a Part-time (but make us want to hire you full time) Website, Video and Print Graphic Designer to join our team of professionals. The Graphic Designer/Creative is a key team member that is responsible for assisting our Vice President of Marketing and Project Manager on new and current marketing projects to ensure design harmony, efficiency, and the WOW factor. Please don’t apply if you do not have samples of video you’ve made, websites you’ve worked on, or print collateral you have spent hours working on.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Successful candidates will posses strong organizational skills and a minimum of 5 years experience in everything we described above and should be able to work with HTML, PHP and have the knowledge to work with experienced programmers who are subcontractors. Candidate will also need to be skilled in designing and creating videos for the web using tools including but not limited to: Final Cut and iMovie. Graphic Design software is a must including Illustrator and Photoshop. InDesign is great, but all of our files are in Illustrator or Photoshop. O, and you need to know how to manage fonts and files. If you ever lose your work because you don’t save enough will show how “green” you are at designing.

Graphic Designer/Creative Must have a positive attitude, be dependable, work hard and have a strong desire to meet creative deadlines while working on our projects. Candidate will work at our office in Highland Village, not at home while snacking on spoonfuls of peanut butter.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Graphic Design experience to span web, video and print mediums.

• Blend in and design to match our current campaigns, but expand with new and improved flare.

• Produce and compose videos and get them to the web or to DVD production.

• Knock out projects instead of drag out projects.

• Be an expert and help marketing team take websites, videos and print to a deeper level .

• Assist with meeting preparation, may include PPT images, printing, assembling and FTP work.

• Manage stock photos, video, audio and other files saving renditions and multiple versions of files.

• Microsoft Excel experience for database management.

• Audio recording and editing is a plus.

• Professionally operate multi-line phone system, directing calls and taking messages.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years experience in the big dawg design suites

• Able to provide outstanding work without taking forever.

• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel (Excel Skills Testing be REQUIRED); Proficient with Outlook.

• Ability to communicate effectively and deal with subcontractors and internal staff.

• Good grammar, spelling and English skills.

• Professional conduct.

• Proven excellent attendance and reliability.

• Organized, accurate and detail oriented.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks in a timely, professional manner.

• Experience and able to work productively with minimal supervision.

• Able to maintain confidentiality.

• Forward thinking and outgoing personality recommended.
