XHTML - Frontend Developer (Anywhere)

We are a portal development company, focusing on new media and gaming. We design, develop and deliver high impact web portals, mobile applications, and backoffice experiences. We are currently seeking a talented XHTML guru and frontend developer for a part-time contractor position, growing to full-time within the next three months. The frontend developer will be involved in the following tasks: 

  1. Rapidly developing XHTML for fully designed mockups and internal pages. 
  2. Developing and troubleshooting JS and other markup issues. 
  3. Working with client to implement content within web portals. 

The designer must have the following experience: 

  1. Experiencing developing standardized, well commented XHTML. 
  2. Must be capable and knowledge in building templates for Smarty 
  3. Experience with JavaScript frameworks and plugins. Implementation of JS/AJAX within XHTML to achieve design strategy. 
  4. Experience organizing, implementing content including the selection of images, and finalizing pages. 

The position will be offered on contract initially, hourly rate. The frontend developer will be assigned tickets and workload, logging time, and working with Project Managers via our project management system. Within the next three months, if everyone is happy, we’ll offer the frontend developer a full time position within the company with usual salary and benefits. The frontend developer ideally should be located in the Lake Mary, Sanford, or Longwood [ORLANDO] general area, and be available for appointments and meetings. The frontend developer should be available during regular business hours.
